All the fun of storytime with your favorite librarians, in the comfort of your home. Songs and stories for kids 6 and under.

The intent of this class is to present the basic elements of music theory beginning with rhythm, notation, scales, and intervals. It is open to those interested in understanding the structure of music on a deeper level.

All you need is a telephone to participate in "BookTalk at Home for Seniors". Listen to Library staff read a short story or poem, and share your thoughts or ideas.  Other Seniors will participate in the call at the same time, so you will

Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly session, but can join at any time.  

The City of Dallas HIPP program provides home owners money to perform major repairs to their homes. If you have questions about what is covered, how to apply or anything else about the program this is the place to ask them.
