June 5 at 2pm: UFOs & You: Discussing the Pentagon's UFO Report 

According to the Pentagon, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force is set to share what it knows about UFOs by June 1. To learn about the purpose of these reports and the importance of what they may contain, join science journalist Sarah Scoles and historian Greg Eghigian as they speculate on what these reports may reveal.

June 12 at 2pm: When Crime Becomes Entertainment 

Have you ever wondered why, as humans, we're so fascinated with crime, murder and other atrocities? Join us for a panel discussion to get to the bottom of that very question. 

June 19 Celebrate Juneteenth 2021 

Celebrate Juneteenth 2021 with these programs that celebrate the joys, struggles, and enduring legacy of this important holiday.  
 

Juneteenth Jamboree at 11am- Celebrate Juneteenth with Newbery and Caldecott award-winning author Carole Boston Weatherford. 

This program is recommended for children ages 6 - 12, but all are welcome to attend. 

Juneteenth Jubilee 2021 at 2pm- Celebrate Juneteenth with a special guest lecture by Shomari Wills, author of Black Fortunes: The Story of the First Six African Americans Who Escaped Slavery and Became Millionaires.

This program is recommended for adult audiences.

Dr. Kenneth Williford, Associate Professor & Chair of the Department of Philosophy & Humanities at the University of Texas at Arlington will discuss the philosophy of existentialism, its major tenets, and some of its major advocates.

Aug. 14 at 2pm: Texas Stadium 50th Anniversary Panel Retrospective 

Dive into North Texas history as our panel discusses the legacy of Texas Stadium, the former home of the Dallas Cowboys football team, 50 years after the now-demolished stadium first opened.
