Join AIDS Walk South Dallas every 3rd Thursday for a conversation with providers and consumers to explore effective ways to improve the South Dallas community and the quality of life for people impacted by HIV/AIDS. Lunch will be provided.

Calling all singers, dancers, poets, magicians, instrumentalists--performers of all kinds: On the third Thursday of every month, the Central Library's Division of Arts, Movies and Music hosts an open mic night. Show up, sign up, and show off!

Fretz Park Community... lets meet over a good book. 

Fretz Park Book Club meets once a month on Thursday at 6:30pm. Lets discuss opinions, themes and favorite chapters about the book posted below. 

Each class features beginner level instructions in guitar by an experienced instructor. Instruments provided. . For the best learning experience, students should try to attend as many sessions as possible.

We will be having a special meeting to pick out February, March, and April 2025 titles.  We will be reviewing possible titles and seeing if we have enough copies from the Dallas Library for the group and then making a decision.
