In the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary, this book club explores history through both fiction and non-fiction that challenge familiar narratives and invite fresh perspectives on the American past.

For babies and their caregivers, learn simple rhymes, songs and books to stimulate infants.

Senior Walk & Talk! A gentle walking group designed for all mobility levels. We’ll take a few easy laps around the library while enjoying conversation and fresh air.

Get help from the North Texas Food Bank signing up for Texas Health and Human Services benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and Medicare Savings Program.

1 on 1 dedicated help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you fill out applications, update your resume and find out about local resources that can help you take the next step in your career.

Get computer, tech and career help at the library! During a one-on-one appointment, a staff member can assist you with: 

Trained Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)/Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) volunteers will be on-site to help maximize your returns and check your eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credits.

Stories, songs and rhymes in English AND Spanish to prepare your child to learn to read!

Suggested ages: 3 years and younger
