Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. 

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Find your artistic voice by joining educators and artists from the Dallas Museum of Art to explore techniques, be inspired by amazing works of art and artists, and to level up your skills to expand your creativity toolkit!
