The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Stop by the Vickery Park Branch Library every Wednesday @ 4 pm to learn the rules and strategies of chess! This program is suitable for kids ages 7 and up and welcome to all!

Take an afternoon break and enjoy learning how to build simple crafts. This month's craft: we celebrate the coming of spring with these beautiful flowers made of construction paper and other common materials. All supplies will be provided.

Spend time outdoors and play with our large game sets.

Take turns reading a new story out loud and earn a small prize from your librarian friends.
