Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome!

The Central Library is hosting a new writing club every first and third Saturday of the month!

Visit the Prairie Creek branch every Saturday from 10:00am - noon for our weekly gathering to share patterns, projects, and socialize.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. 

Adults will learn the process to complete a two-color linocut, including transfer methods, cutting techniques, and registration. Artists will print their own fine art edition using the skills and tricks to enable them to continue printmaking.

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Weekly yarn craft meetup for adults

Drumba is a fun, unique group fitness workout utilizing weighted drumsticks, dance moves, and high energy music. 

There is a lot more work to being a content creator than meets the eye. It looks like so much fun, but where do you start?

Want to learn a craft, but you aren't very crafty? Come learn how to make seed bombs and then take them to toss along a trail or in your own garden. 

Limited to 10 adults. Registration is required.

Find your artistic voice by joining educators and artists from the Dallas Museum of Art to explore techniques, be inspired by amazing works of art and artists, and to level up your skills to expand your creativity toolkit!

Meet other musicians, learn new songs, and play together in a relaxed and supportive environment. Acoustic musicians of all skill levels are invited to bring an instrument and join in.
