It’s time for Halloween and the cool kooky days of fall. Join us for this edition of Grow With Us to find out what might be spooky in your yard!

Marissa Caggiano has had a lifelong fascination with the look, smells, tastes, and powers of plants, honed sharp with her skills of observation and description from years as a professional artist and art instructor. She focuses on teaching the safe and practical identification of wild plants, their edible and medicinal properties, the ethics of foraging, as well as promoting the awareness of poisonous plants. While they may grow in the wild, they can also make their way into your landscape at home with seeds dropped by birds, yard teams who don’t clean their equipment, or seeds blown in by the wind.

Marissa was an apprentice to renowned Texas Forager, Dr. Mark "Merriwether" Vorderbruggen.
