Gerit Quealy, author of Botanical Shakespeare, will take us on a historical journey across England as she discusses the influence that Queen Elizabeth had on gardening in the country and also Shakespeare's works.

Author Gerit Quealy began her career as an actor, notably ABC’s Ryan’s Hope & opposite Robert Sean Leonard in Romeo & Juliet. As a journalist, she has covered everything from dollhouses, birdhouses, beauty, brownies, & brides, in outlets such as the New York TimesCountry LivingWoman's Day, NBC’s Style Goes Strong and an array of gardening magazines. She’s a passionate paleographer & the author of Botanical Shakespeare from HarperCollins.
