Event Details

STEAM fun is coming to the Vickery Park Branch Library every 1st and 4th Wednesday! This program is intended for school-age children to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and interactive ways! 

Today we will be learning about how thunderstorms and lightning are created! Spark into action by creating a lightning rod as we discuss the science behind these storms. 

 

The program is brought to you by the generous funding from the Friends of the Dallas Public Library and is part of a partnership with Climate, Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW).
