Theater Club Needs You!

The Youth Discovery Center is looking for young actors of all experience levels to join the Theater Club.

Are you having trouble in Math?   Get FREE tutoring Saturdays 10am - 12pm from Intellichoice Math Tutors.  Available for all students up to grade 12.  

Sign up to receive FREE math tutoring for grades K-12 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Branch Library.

Slay monsters, gather treasure and go on adventures with friends old and new! Dungeons & Dragons sessions, led by Thomas Acebo, meet every second and fourth Saturday of the month. 

Paint outside the lines and unlock your creative streak with an all-access pass to artistic exploration! From paints to pastels, pencils to markers, young artists will dive brush-first into a world of imagination.

A story time for big kids, with crafts! Perfect for ages 5-8.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by making your own mini piñata! We will be decorating empty toilet paper rolls to make piñatas that you can fill at home!

During our Bluebonnet Book Bard meetings, we will use Reader's Theatre scripts from TLA to make current Bluebonnet Books come alive. 

As we celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Month, we will learn about different Asian Cultures and will highlight a new country each week.

Create your own lava lamp for this month's STEM project!  Explore chemical reactions to make a cool and functional lava lamp for your room.

Create a card just in time for Mother's Day.

 Visit the Prairie Creek branch every week after school on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm for fun filled activities.

Practice your reading skills in a fun, relaxed environment by reading to a therapy dog! These trained therapy dogs will be the most well behaved and kindest paw-dience you have ever had. 

Explore and create with K'Nex! Builders of all ages can develop engineering skills by designing and creating anything from soaring roller coasters to race cars to towering structures. 

Join us the 2nd Thursday of every month for a themed Lego challenge. Work solo or in a team and flex your imagination and creation skills!

Ready to tile the perfect gift for a special mother figure? This creative program is all about crafting personalized Mother's Day coasters with ceramic tiles and paint.

We will focus on Art depicting Motherhood with an activity for children to complete.
