What do you know about hiking? Well, you don’t have to take a hike to learn to Leave No Trace skills anywhere you go outdoors. Join us for this fun and kid-friendly session about the great outdoors near your front door or far on a woodland trail.

Do you want to learn how to play chess?  Are you a chess enthusiast or looking for someone to play against? Then come check out Mountain Creek our Chess Club! Chess boards are provided.

Calling all kid builders!

Come to the Lochwood Branch Library and build with LEGO bricks. Challenge your brain with some exciting builds and have lots of fun! We supply the LEGO bricks, you supply the creativity and positive attitude!

Refuel afterschool with a free nutritious super snack for ages 1-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Education PV.

Flex your engineering skills and creative muscles with building bricks!

Each month will have a different theme.

All supplies provided. 

Take a trip to the cinema with a monthly movie screening showing new films as well as familiar favorites. Watch a movie, bring a snack, and spend some time with new friends!

All films will be rated G or PG.

Nasher Sculpture Center is providing an immersive bilingual Mother's Day Crafternoon, with an exclusive look into their most modern and contemporary installations.

Thursdays afterschool we explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through fun and creative projects!

Recommended for ages 6 to 11 years old.

Aliens are on the loose, and it's up to young engineers to bring them back! Build paper airplane launchers and use the power of STEAM to pop balloons and capture those mischievous extraterrestrials.

In this exciting, hands-on engineering and craft workshop, kids will design, build, and test their own catapults and poppers.
