Jewelry-Making Class with Dawn Franklin Designs

Learn about the intricacies of jewelry-making from an industry professional! In this class taught by local artist Dawn Franklin, students will learn the secrets of making handmade jewelry and be able to practice these skills in a hands-on working environment while getting one-on-one pointers from the instructor. Students will make necklaces, bracelets and earrings using materials such as African trade beads, exotic wood and gemstones which Dawn uses in her own work. This class is intended for patrons ages 55 and up.

Dawn Franklin is a Dallas-based artist with nearly two decades’ experience making jewelry. She is the owner of Dawn Franklin Designs, a shop offering handmade African-inspired jewelry.
