Learn all of the ways bacterial and viral infections are spread—and how many illnesses can be avoided with proper hand washing techniques. Conduct your own experiments to determine hand-washing effectiveness and investigate issues of cross-contamination and food safety. Kit provided by University of Texas-Dallas. Recommended for grades 1-5.
