Get Started with Grants and Nonprofits! This four-class series will walk students through the basics of starting a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, from incorporation paperwork to writing your first grant proposal. Learn what you’ll need at each step, how to use our Candid databases to research potential funders and promote your own organization, and more!
February's class will introduce students to Candid's GuideStar database, one of the world's largest sources of information about nonprofit organizations. GuideStar can be a valuable resource for promoting your organization, and this class will go over its perks and features, and how to claim and update your nonprofit's profile.
This class will be held online via Zoom. Register below to secure your spot. To register for the in-person version, click here.
