Join us at the 24th Annual Legacies Dallas History Conference on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The event will be held on the 7th floor of the Dallas Public Library downtown from 9-12:30 PM.

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn!

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

This month we're  playing with perler beads and heat to create some fun and unique art!

Make it a date night, a friends outing, or a just a fun craft time and make your own scented candle! Choose from a variety of delicious scents, or mix and match fragrance oils to create your own.

Lavender is well-known for its calming properties and pleasant scent. This program will show you the basics of making a lavender-scented candle, including an introduction to using dye flakes to add color to candle wax.

Every other Saturday gather at the library with your family for a movie showtime presented in Spanish! Everyone is welcome!
