Week Calendar

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Enjoy an inviting space where you and your child can learn, play, and socialize with others in the community every Tuesday. Listen to stories, move to the music, and have fun!

Recommended for ages 3 and up with a caregiver.

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn!

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.

Move, dance and sing with us to help develop your kiddo's motor movement skills, brain development, and love of music! Music and movement activities are essential building block for a child’s developing brain.

Visit the Prairie Creek branch every Saturday from 10:00am - noon for our weekly gathering to share patterns, projects, and socialize.

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Join us on the second Thursday of each month for our Senior Game Day! This month we will be playing cards! Come show us your old favorite card game, or maybe even learn a new one!

Never fear... the library is here!

We will have a limited supply of viewing glasses to hand out and area in the parking lot where you can view the eclipse.

Harry Potter Book Day is back!  This year's theme is Magical Places.  Join us at the library - the most Magical Place of all - for a fun filled evening of activities 

A dance and movement class focusing on a variety of dance styles and movement practices. All levels are welcome to come explore and expand their personal movement vocabulary. 

We have invited W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy's  Folklorico dance group to perform in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
