An introduction into the health benefits and variety of green vegetables. We will briefly cover salads that we love but quickly transition into more creative ways to incorporate veggies in your diet. Join Joey Campain and David Hutto from UT Southwestern for this research-centered quick dive into healthy eating.

Joey Campain is a Medical Student at UT Southwestern Medical School. He loves the idea of using food as a first-line defense against disease and helps his peers explore this mission through his role as Coordinator of the Culinary Medicine student elective.

David Hutto is a 2nd year Medical student at UT Southwestern. He’s interested in cardiology and understanding how lifestyle changes made through healthier eating and cooking habits can impact health and longevity.
