Savor the flavors and stir up some culture! In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, this hands-on cooking program will guide participants through the creation of four traditional dishes, each rich in history and taste. Discover new recipes, cooking techniques, and the stories behind beloved Latin American cuisines—all while cooking up a delicious good time!
Week 2: El Salvador – Pupusas de Queso y Frijoles
Thick, hand-formed corn tortillas stuffed with a blend of melted cheese and refried beans. Grilled until golden and served with curtido (pickled cabbage) and salsa for a true taste of Salvadoran comfort food.
