Do you want to learn or increase your skills? 

Please come to the Vickery Park Branch every Saturday @ 2pm to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, and macrame.

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn!

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.

Playtime at Union has relocated just down the road to Playtime at Oak Lawn! Come join us for stories, songs, crafts, and other activities in our new and improved play-learning space!

Movie Matinee! Bring your valentine to enjoy magical romantic comedy! Bring your own snacks!

The screening will begin at 10 a.m., and the film will always conclude before the library's doors close. 

Art for the Heart! This art class is for 3-5 year old who would like to come and create different valentines for their loved ones.

Parents/caregivers are encouraged to stay and participate.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.
