Happy Mardi Gras!!  Y'all come on down to the Park Forest Branch and pick up some beads!  We will have music and coloring pages galore for the younger partiers.

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn!

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.

Addictive Books is DPL's monthly book club taking place at Union Coffee. We meet once a month on Saturday for coffee and discussion. This month's book club book is Olga Dies of Dreaming by Xóchitl González.

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

For this class you should have attended Embroidery Class 101 to finish the project, Learn how to construct a tote bag by hand sewing; attach the patch from the embroidery class.

Want to learn a craft, but you aren't very crafty? Come learn the basics of the art of macrame while creating your own macrame wall hanging.
